One fan stole the show on the Premier League’s opening weekend, sprinting onto the pitch at Upton Park and taking a free kick in the middle of a West Ham-Tottenham game.

That fan, 22-year-old Jordan Dunn, appeared in Thames Magistrates’ Court in East London, where Judge Gareth Branston fined Dunn £305 but spared him a ban from the stadium. The Judge also compared him to David Beckham.

Via Eurosport:

“You had consumed alcohol and your stride pattern was a bit out of kilter, but to borrow a phrase you did bend it like Beckham.”

The judge also took a hilarious shot at Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen.

“I understand that the professional footballer who followed you did not do any better.”
