In the build up to the expected launch of the iPhone 6 on September 9, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive mode. It's expected to be slimmer and larger at the same time, thanks to its 4.7-inch screen. On Tuesday, a video of the iPhone 6 appeared on YouTube, but this was not an iPhone per se, but rather a device that was assembled using a set of leaked parts. This in turn gives us the clearest indication of what the iPhone 6 will look like next Tuesday.

The video showcases the iPhone 6 in space grey like the iPhone 5S, but clearly it's slimmer and taller thanks to a larger screen. Earlier videos have indicated that it will have a display made out of sapphire, a higher resolution camera with a circular true tone flash and its Touch ID sensor will be able to authenticate make payments via American Express, Visa and Master Card credit and debit cards. That said, a 5.5-inch iPhone is not expected at the event next week, however the unveil of Apple's smartwatch is highly likely.

According to the video, the iPhone 6 will also have plastic inserts on the back much like the HTC One (M7) to keep the device free of antenna-related issues. Famously, the iPhone 4, which was released in 2010 had a glass and aluminium build, but Apple faced flak over the antenna performance of the phone as many users faced dropped calls.
