It's said that three's a crowd, but that hasn't deterred Adinath Das, Atanu Hazra and Koushik Sengupta from joining forces to direct a film, Ichchemotir Golpo.
What's more is that the film boasts of quite an impressive cast -Saswata Chatterjee, Tanusree Chakraborty, Koushik Roy , Paran Bandopadhyay , Shaheb Bhattacherjee, Bidpta Chakraborty and Aparajita Auddy .
While Koushik Sengupta has penned the story and screenplay , Kalyan Sen Barat is scoring the music.
When we asked Koushik how they planned to go about directing the film without having any difference of opinion, he said, Filmmaking is teamwork. We even welcome suggestions from spot boys. So, there's no question of not listening to each other. As for the storyline, he said, Beginning with Tagore's Uttaran in the background, the film revolves around Ichche, a danseuse and a free-spirited girl, and writer Neel, both of whom have completely different takes on love and relationships. So, though they are attracted to each other, their love remains unrequited. Here, fashion photographer Bijoy comes into the picture. He is not only attracted to Ichche, but is set on making her a star. The film is about what transpires after this point.Tanusree is playing Ichche, Saswata, Neel and Shaheb, Bijoy .
Tanusree, who is looking forward to the project, said, The storyline is great, but what's even better is the fact that I'll be sharing screen space with a talented actor like Apuda (Saswata)," she said.
Saswata, too, is happy about the film. My association with Adida (Adinath) goes back a long way and the way the trio has conceptualized the film is amazing, he said.
Ichchemotir Golpo is slated to go on the floors on September 9.
