SBI PO: How many times can you apply

State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for recruitment at 2, 986 posts of Probationary Officers (PO) in Associate Banks. Out of the total posts, 415 seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 533 seats for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 743 are booked for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) category and 1, 295 are for the general category candidates.

The candidates belonging to general category who wish to apply for SBI PO exam can attempt it four times. The candidates belonging to OBC category can attempt the examination seven times whereas those belonging to SC/ST category will not have any restrictions. They can attempt the examination for as many times as they wish to.

Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates: 7 chances
SC/ ST category: no restriction
