Sandalwood actress Mythriya Gowda found herself in the spotlight after she claimed to be married to Union minister DV Sadananda Gowda’s son, Karthik, on the day of his engagement. Mythriya may not have many movies to her credit, but she is the talk of the town for claiming to be Union railway minister DV Sadananda Gowda’s daughter-in-law. The minister’s son recently got engaged in Kushalnagar and that is when Mythriya tried to put a stop to it by claiming that his son, Karthik, and she were married.The actress even circulated pictures of them together in the media and claimed that they tied the knot in secret as Karthik’s mother was opposed to their union. Karthik and his family have dismissed the claims, but that didn’t stop Mythriya from filing a case of cheating and rape against her ‘husband’.

Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine had to seek police protection for her wedding to software professional Anil John Titus in Thiruvananthapuram. While approaching the cops, Anil claimed that a Bangalore-based woman and her father had threatened that they would not allow him to get married to Meera, as he had allegedly married the woman in a ceremony in Tirupathi. The woman reportedly demanded compensation from Meera to give her consent for their wedding.
Shruthi
Kannada actress Shruthi’s second wedding, to journalist-turned-director Chandrachud, had its share of drama. The two decided to tie the knot after divorcing their respective spouses, but things got complicated after Chandrachud’s first wife, Manjula, claimed that his wedding to Shruthi was not valid since they were still married. Manjula went on record to say that she didn’t want to divorce Chandrachud and wanted him to return to her. She approached a court, which annulled Chandrachud’s wedding to Shruthi since he was still married at the time of his second wedding.
Mukesh
Malayalam actor Mukesh and actress Saritha filed for divorce in 2009, but the actress claimed that Mukesh’s wedding to danseuse Methil Devika in 2013 was illegal since his first wedding was not dissolved. Saritha said that she had withdrawn her divorce application in 2010, because of which Mukesh could not enter wedlock again. In a statement, she accused her husband of bigamy and said that she would employ all legal options available to her.
Abhishek Bachchan
The entire nation was excited when Bollywood’s most high-profile couple was to be united in holy matrimony in 2007. But one woman was not so happy. As Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were celebrating their wedding, model Jahnvi Kapoor slashed her wrists. She claimed that the star son had gone back on his promise of marrying her after getting physical with her and demanded that he speak to her. She wanted to file a police complaint, but the cops refused as the model didn’t have any proof of her relationship with Abhishek.
