LAHORE- Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Atiq along with a delegation called on PML-Q President Senator Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervaiz Elahi at their residence.
According to a Press release issued here on Monday, All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference delegation included Raja Muhammad Yaseen Khan, Sardar Abdul Razzaq, Sardar Saghir Chughtai, Haji Muhammad Aziz Khan, Sardar Babar advocate and Asim Abbasi. During the meeting Senator Kamil Ali Agha, MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan and Dr Azeemuddin Lakhvi were also present.
Commenting on the prevailing political situation in the country, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that whatever was happening in Islamabad was unparalleled and the ruthless use of tear gas chemical weapons and rifle bullets on protesters who were protesting peacefully for last 17 days was inefficiency of the government.
He said Inqilab March had achieved its objective and Nawaz Sharif should resign instead of shedding blood of more innocents.
He said his resignation was the only solution of the present crisis. He said straight bullets were being fired on elders, women and children whereas the injured and bodies were also being whisked away from hospitals to unknown place.
