Miami and Louisville squared off Monday in an opening week ACC showdown. The two clashed in the footballing sense and also in a battle of uniforms.

Plenty of schools rolled out new and unique looks this opening weekend. Miami and Louisville didn’t exactly debut new uniforms, so much as piece together a David Bowie-acid trip with Knute Rockne.
Both teams doubled-down on a crazy looking helmets plus non-traditional uniforms scheme and the result was what appears to be a dress rehearsal for Tron 3. Neither look is ever going to win mass approval, however, Louisville’s red-tinted helmets were easily the most effective statement.
