Foodies are always on a lookout to try new dishes. And keeping this in mind, The Spice Factory, a contemporary Indian specialty restaurant has come up with exclusive dishes, favourites of the royals, in their Maharaja Food Festival from August 29- September 14.

Foodies are always on a lookout to try new dishes. And keeping this in mind, The Spice Factory, a contemporary Indian specialty restaurant has come up with exclusive dishes, favourites of the royals, in their Maharaja Food Festival from August 29- September 14.
“Cooking for the Maharajas was never easy. The dishes were cooked over slow fire, using heavy utensils and the food had a unique flavour. We have tried our best to bring the same taste alive in our dishes with a similar cooking processes,”says Vikas Khattri, owner of the resaurant.
The cuisines are based around the use of the tandoor, sighri, tawa and the unique charcoal grill to bring out the true, traditional flavours.
Some of the mouth-watering dishes include Chittorgarh ke Sooley, Banas ki Tawa Machhi, Sawai Man Singh ki Pasand, Laal Maas Rajputana, Sawai Madhopur ka Lal Paneer besides shahi desserts like Kesari Kheer, Shahi Tukda and more.
And it isn’t just the food that has a royal touch. Even the ambience of The Spice Factory, located at City Mall, Gomti Nagar, spells opulence and royal grace.
The Maharaja Weekday menu is priced at `555, while Maharaja Weekend Menu is priced at `695 (excluding taxes).
