Swansea striker Wilfried Bony is set to stay at the club despite late interest from Monaco.

The 25-year-old Ivory Coast international has been the subject of speculation all summer, with Tottenham reported to have enquired about the forward earlier in the summer.

Having allowed Radamel Falcao to join Manchester United on loan, French Ligue 1 side Monaco are keen to bring in another striker.

But Swansea are desperate to keep the man who scored 25 goals in all competitions last season and are reluctant to sell for less than a significant fee.

Bony said back in May that he was happy at the Liberty Stadium and was not desperate to move, but does have ambitions to play for a Champions League club.

Bony signed for Swansea from Vitesse Arnhem for £12million in the summer of 2013.
