Workers vide No. DIP/J-2867 dated: 30-07-2014 (Daily Excelsior of 01-08-2014), relaxation has been given for eligibility criteria i.e candidate should be matric pass. List of notified villages is same but if candidate from notified areas are not available then candidates from the surrounding uncovered villages will be considered but after selection and completion of the training candidate has to work in the above notified area only for which he has been selected. Whereas, the issue was taken with state medical faculty who accepted that in certain disciplines 1st year marks certificates were not issued in favour of the candidates.
Whereas, the selection committee unanimously decided in the meeting that this office will go for a screening test of the candidates on the analogy of SSRB/PSC, thereby cancelling the merit list already uploaded on the GMC website.
Whereas, screening test shall be conducted having 80% marks and 20% marks are earmarked for interview.
Now therefore, it has been decided that selection committee shall hold a screening test in order to determine the merit enabling this office to prepare a short list of the eligible candidates to be called for the interview.
