Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, who played brothers in the 2010 political drama Rajneeti and got along famously then, may have reached a tight spot. A spot that's putting Arjun ill at ease.
They had got along famously during the shoot of their last film Prakash Jha's Rajneeti and had vowed to work together again at the next given opportunity.
Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, who played brothers in the 2010 political drama Rajneeti are expected to be seen together in Vikramjit Singh's film Roy.
Full page advertisements in papers announced the film long time ago, almost one and half years ago. Although the film is to be directed by Ranbir Kapoor's school friend, somehow Ranbir's ascending career graph and popularity made it difficult for him to allot dates for this film.
As a result, Arjun's dates got wasted. According to a source, Arjun is annoyed and irritated with Ranbir, though he did not make it apparent when the film's shoot finally kicked off last month in Mauritius.
Ranbir had initially said that he only had 15 days' work in the film. We all know that Ranbir is now a big draw with his star status having risen in the last two years. It is not surprising that the Rockstar actor now has at least 45 days of work to shoot.
Wonder how Arjun feels about Ranbir's role being increased? That could be reason for him to be annoyed for a long time to come. Let's wait if the same camaraderie they shared during Rajneeti continues or the cold war escalates.
