Shahid Kapoor to have a personal nightclub

As Vishal Bhardwaj's Hamlet aka Haider, Shahid Kapoor has come of age. And off screen, too, that growth shows. He has moved out of his parents' place.

In an interview to GQ India, Shahid, who currently lives in Versova, revealed that he will soon move to a new pad in Juhu where he's created a soundproof nightclub-type space. It also has a separate entrance so people can continue to party when he's not around.

Shahid ends up being the DJ at most parties he goes to. whether it is with friends, or even at a night club. One time, he got behind the decks with DJ Ankytrixx at GQ's Best-Dressed party. DJing, he says, is something that snuckup on him after a trip to Ibiza.

"It took me four years to find that place," he laughs, when asked about the place, adding, "Brokers had just about stopped calling me back."

Now, with the new pad, he can test-run his sets.
