Artiste Javed Zaidi dead
Renowned theatre personality Javed Zaidi passed away here on Sunday.Zaidi, who had been ailing for long, was admitted to a private hospital.
BHOPAL: Renowned theatre personality Javed Zaidi passed away here on Sunday. Zaidi, who had been ailing for long, was admitted to a private hospital.
Zaidi's career spanned four decades. His well-known plays were Tuti Hui Kursi and Khwabida Sawal among others.
Considered a pioneer, his plays were based on contemporary issues and changing society. He formed Sambhavana Theatre Group in Bhopal to educate and groom new talent.His last play Kamla is to be staged at Bharat Bhawan auditorium.
