    ICVL initiates recruitment for Mozambique operations

    Synopsis

    Professionals having required qualifications and experience are due to be recruited for its Mozambique operations, through a process of personal interview.

    KOLKATA: International Coal Ventures Limited (ICVL), a joint venture of state owned PSUs, has invited applications from Indian nationals for seven positions in Mozambique. This follows the acquisition of Rio Tinto's coal mines in the African country last month. ICVL is planning to send an initial team of around 25 to Mozambique. Professionals having required qualifications and experience are due to be recruited for its Mozambique operations, through a process of personal interview. ICVL, which is due to take charge of the mines from Rio Tinto by September, has advertised for seven positions. These are chief planning officer , chief finance manager ,manager port and logistics, manager health and safety, manager exploration. The ICVL asset in Mozambique includes an operational mine and two other green field mines in Tete province.
