Cops bust pack of motorcyclists riding wrong way on highway

Cops busted up a swarm of reckless motorcycle, dirt-bike and ATV riders headed the wrong way on the Van Wyck Expressway on Saturday.

This ATV was also left behind by the bikers.

The crew was riding southbound in the northbound lane around 5 p.m. when officers were able to slow traffic and break them up, police said.

Two riders were nabbed, but the rest picked up their bikes, hopped over a median and fled, officials said.

Three bikes, including a blue Yamaha dirt bike, were left behind, and Omid Bedi, 30, of Queens was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, criminal nuisance, reckless driving, having an unregistered motorcycle and an improper license, police said. He’d been riding a blue Yamaha ATV, they said.

Equilla Ross, 29, of Mount Vernon was caught on a red Honda motorcycle and charged with two counts of criminal nuisance.
