Did BJP General Secretaries Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Shahnawaz Hussain married through Love Jehad? Asked Gujarat Congress president Arjun Modhwadia at poll-bound Mangrol town in Gujarat where Muslim votes are in good number and Congress is eying them.

Modhwadia rubbished the phrase ‘Love Jehad’ which is used for an activity in which Muslim boys “lure and trap” girls belonging to other religions and convert them to Islam before or after marriage, with or without their consent.

Modhwadia said BJP leaders Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Shahnawaz Hussain are married to Hindu women. Does BJP believe that these two examples are also part of what they call Love Jihad?
