'UP biscuit king's kin threatening me'

BHOPAL: In a new twist to the sensational murder of Jyoti Dasani, daughter-in-law of biscuit tycoon, Om Prakash Shyamdasani, her father alleged he was being threatened by people close to her in-laws. Speaking to TOI on Saturday, he said he began getting threatening calls after he wrote to UP chief minister seeking action against Dasanis.
Jyoti, a resident of Jabalpur, was allegedly murdered by contract killers hired by her husband Piyush Shyam Dasani.Piyush has already been arrested by UP police along with a woman with whom he allegedly had an affair. Jyoti's father, Shankar Nagdev, a Jabalpur-based industrialist told police he was threatened by Fatturam from Itawah, a day after he sent a letter to UP chief minister for action against her in-laws and other family members.
"You should not have sent any letter against family members of Shyamdasani. Now wait and watch. This time you have lost your only your daughter... see what happens next. Now, I am involved in this matter. What can police do against Piyush and his family?" said Nagdev quoting the caller.
