Cork overpower Wexford to storm into final with Kilkenny

CORK will face Kilkenny in the All-Ireland camogie final after overpowering Wexford 1-15 to 0-8 in their semi-final replay in Walsh Park yesterday.
Katriona Mackey's first-half goal gave the Rebels a one-point lead at the interval, and they tore Wexford apart in the second half.
Despite Orla Cotter's early point for the Rebelettes, Wexford settled quickly, and a brace from Ursula Jacob either side of a Shelley Kehoe point put the 2012 champions two points clear.
However, Cork came roaring back and a Mackey point was followed by a stunning goal by the corner-forward.
A reply from Katrina Parrock was followed by three Cotter frees, and three quick-fire points from the Model women in injury-time cut the lead to 1-5 to 0-7 at the break.
Cork dominated the final half-hour, sweeping over seven unanswered points before Wexford raised their sole white flag of the half.
