Telugu producers vie for Dhanush's VIP remake rights

Directed by Velraj, it was Dhanush's 25th film and also had Amala Paul in the lead role. The film went on to be a huge hit in Tamil and for the past few weeks, there has been intense competition to buy the remake rights in Telugu. Apparently, several top producers in Telugu are keen to buy the remake rights since it has all the ingredients for a good commercial entertainer.The film revolves around an unemployed graduate, a role played by Dhanush, and the story is about what step he takes to end his misery. It remains to be seen which of the top Telugu producers has the last laugh in the end and buys the remake rights.
