Army jawan killed in gunfight with Kashmir militants

An Army jawan was killed and another injured on Saturday during an encounter with militants in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to sources, 4-5 militants are said to be holed up in Kalaroos area and gunbattle is underway.

Police said a large group of heavily armed militants have infiltrated into the Indian side of the LoC in this area following which a massive operation was started against them by the security forces.
