KOCHI: Kerala police arrested Jamil Aktar (22), suspected of arranging accommodation for Indian Mujahideen (IM) operatives Waqas Ahamed and Tehseen Aktar, at Munnar on Friday.
Aktar, originally from Bihar, was running a tea shop at Munnar and reportedly went missing after the arrest of Waqas and Tehseen. His photographs were displayed in public places by the police as a "wanted man".
The Delhi police had brought Waqas and Tehseen to Munnar to collect evidence in early April this year.

While Waqas was arrested by Delhi Police's special cell from Ajmer on March 23 on charges that he was planning to carry out terror attacks in south India and Rajasthan, Tehseen was nabbed near the Nepal border while trying to sneak into Pakistan via Kathmandu.
The state police have not obtained any incriminating evidence from Aktar so far and National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials, investigating the blast cases, have arrived in Munnar and started questioning him.
