JAMMU, Aug 29: The students of Jodhamal Public School sparkled in various sporting events so far in the season.
In Under-19 Swimming Competition, Hardik won 2 gold and Vishesh bagged one gold and one bronze medal. These students are being coached by Pooja Bassan, Balwinder Kumar and Aashi Jamwal.
In the Inter-School Chess, the students of Jodhamal School played excellently. Soha Gupta, Sanjukta Sobani and Dewang Gupta won medals, while in Tennis Ball Cricket Under-19 boys, the team from Jodhamal School emerged runners-up. The team members included Jagteshwar Singh, Danvish Verma, Hameem Rathore, Ayush Verma, Abhishek Abrol, Lioner Jeet Singh, Satyam Padha, Aniket, Kanhiya Sharma, Aarya Sehgal, Jaideep Singh, Veerain Chib, Paarth Jain.
The Team is being coached by Sukhomal Ganguly and Rupali Salathia.
Four boys including Jagteshwar Singh, Danvish Verma, Hameem Rathore, Ayush Verma have been selected in Tennis Ball Cricket, while 6 girls namely Danish Koul, Navisha Gupta, Ishita Dhar, Stuti Kuthiala, Antariksha Pathania and Mehak Trehan have also been selected in Tennis Ball Cricket and 5 boys namely Naman Chandoke, Abhay Singh, Maneshwar Singh, Ishwar Singh and Maullik Jain have been selected in the Basketball.
Four of the young Skaters including Vasu Manhas, Rakshit Saini, Panini Sharma and Vansh Rajput of Jodhamal have been selected for Inter-School Nationals to be held at Ahmedabad.
The Principal, Trilok Singh Bist congratulated the coaches and the team members for their excellent performances.
