14 doctors found absent from duty

The administrative officers put the mobile phones of doctors on surveillance on Friday. It was found that 14 of them were not present at the community health centres/primary health centres (CHCs/PHCs) or other places of posting. Action was recommended against them.

The administrative officers put the mobile phones of doctors on surveillance on Friday. It was found that 14 of them were not present at the community health centres/primary health centres (CHCs/PHCs) or other places of posting. Action was recommended against them.
The divisional commissioner and other administrative officers reached the control room of BSNL office in the afternoon.
They put the mobile phones of 19 doctors on surveillance and checked their location.
The officials found 14 doctors not present on at the CHCs/PHCs. Five of them were present.
Dr Unnat Bahadur Singh of Soraon was missing. His location was traced to Pratapgarh. Dr BB Singh of Kaurihar was found at Medical College. Location of Dr Atul Kumar Srivastava of Lalgopalganj PHC was found in Allahabad city. The location of Dr Ravi Verma of Srivengpur was found at Kanpur while Dr Satyajeet Singh was traced at Agra. Location of Dr B Surya Bhanu of Vankaisra was traced to Phaphamau while location of Dr Pramod Kumar Jaiswal of Handia CHC was traced to Alopi Bagh.
Dr. Chandra Prakash of CHC in Sorie was traced at Lucknow while location of Dr Tarun Pathak of Shankargarh PHC was traced to Jasra. Dr Narendra Kumar of Haripur was traced at Colenelganj in the city. Phone of Dr D N Singh of Mundera CHC was found to be switched off.
Several officers were present at the BSNL office.
