Identity Card is a half-hearted attempt

Identity Card, attempts to engage itself with the burning issue of Kashmir, but falls flat. The film is riddled with poor acting, bad script and half-hearted attempt by director Rahat Kazmi.

TV reporter Nazia, goes to Kashmir to shoot a documentary with help from Facebook friend Ajay and a guide Raju. The trio are taken in by the STF on suspicion of being terrorists after Nazia misplaces her Identity Card. With this, begins their ordeal. On the way, we get to see their inter-personal relationships and dynamics of officials within the police force, their frustrations and aspirations.

Weak story and poor performance mar the movie. Editing and back ground score disappoint too. Director Rahat Kazmi has no clue whatsoever, what is he doing.

In all, Identity Card is lost in a muddle.
