Vince Vaughn Snags Kate Bosworth's Home

This article is more than 9 years old.

Comedic actor Vince Vaughn and his wife have purchased a secluded Los Angeles home from actress Kate Bosworth.

The “Wedding Crashers” star purchased the house for $2.375 million, according to property records. The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathrooms abode is located in one of Los Angeles’ most desirable neighborhoods.

Bosworth is parting with the home following her wedding to film director Michael Polish. The actress met Polish on the set of the 2011 movie “Big Sur,” which Polish directed. Bosworth, known for her roles in “The Horse Whisperer” and “Blue Crush,” married Polish last year in a wedding that was featured on the cover of Martha Stewart Weddings.

She purchased the home in 2005 for $2.1 million and listed it for sale in the spring for $2.499 million. Bosworth  reportedly has a new a lakefront home in Montana with her husband.

Vaughn’s new family home is tucked away in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles. The 2,890-square-foot traditional house was built in 1955 and has been tastefully updated. Upgrades include a large master bathroom and chef’s kitchen. Wood floors, painted exposed brick, bead-board ceilings, beautifully designed bathrooms and plenty of large windows bring the home into the 21st century. There is a lap pool and large patio in the backyard as well.

The “Swingers” actor also owns a home in La Cañada Flintridge, CA as well as an investment property in Chicago. He and his wife, Kyla Weber, a former real estate agent, have two children.
