SAMBA, Aug 28: The irate residents of various localities in Vijaypur area held a protest at Malsah and blocked Vijaypur-Nandpur road against the starting of matador services from Vijaypur to Sankha Jarlad and demanded that the three wheeler service should continue.
The protestors raising slogans said that the matador service was very taxing for them as it takes hours together to reach the destination while the three wheeler service was easy and quick.
The protestors appealed the Government to allow the three wheelers to ply on this road failing which they will intensify agitation.
