Bhanu Uday ties the knot

Actor BhanuUday (remember him?), who was in the news a few years ago, recently married girlfriend and co-actor ShaliniKhanna.
But instead of planning his honeymoon, the actor is busy promoting his upcoming show HamariDidi. He says, “It’s just been five days since my wedding. But, at the moment, I have no time to take a break or plan my honeymoon. After a long time, I will be seen on television in a substantial role, so I am focusing on it.”

Bhanu, who was part of shows like Special Squad and Ek Tha Rusty in the past, adds, “I was not away from the glam world, it’s just that I was busy with something or the other.But I have been doing small-time stuff for different channels. Of course, I refused some lucrative daily soaps because it takes away all your energy and time. I was also busy with one Hollywood and two Hindi films, so I could not afford to work in a daily soap. It requires you to put in long working hours.”
An NSD graduate who polished his acting skills under the guidance of veteran theatre personalities, Bhanu’s Hollywood film Blemished Light is in post-production now. Last seen in horror film Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai opposite actress Swara Bhaskar, Bhanu will be playing a boy from Patiala in his upcoming show. He says, “There was something karmic about this role. I had a feeling that I must really go for it, so I gave an audition and two look tests. I am playing the main lead, who is a modern guy full of courage, and takes every decision with a balanced approach.”
