CNBC Unveils New Worldwide Exchange On-Air Team

Frost and Mody to join Chatterley as program anchors

London, New York & Singapore - August 28, 2014 - CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, has announced that two new anchors are set to join incumbent Julia Chatterley as hosts of daily global business show Worldwide Exchange. Wilfred Frost will make his on-air debut on September 1, while Seema Mody will complete the new three-anchor line-up from the middle of the month.

This triple fix of talent will give a dynamic look and feel to the program. Broadcast from the CNBC London studio, the show distils essential business and investment news from the Asian, EMEA and American markets and involves a diversity of CNBC reporters around the globe.

This exceptional line-up has authority and spark: Chatterley has earned a solid reputation as an inquisitor of leading political figures, having recently interviewed numerous world leaders such as Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Portuguese Prime Minister Pedro Coelho. She has previously co-anchored CNBC's Capital Connection and European Closing Bell and is already firmly established with the Worldwide Exchange audience.

CNBC newcomer Frost brings his prior expertise as a fund manager in the City of London to the show. Having graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics, he worked for five years with an investment house, only recently deciding to follow his late father into journalism. With a natural flair for television and grounding in financial services, he brings presence and professional acumen to his new role in business and financial news.

Seema Mody has been a reporter with CNBC in New York since 2011, focusing on stories that impact Wall Street and tracking the vibrant tech and IPO market from the NASDAQ exchange. She was previously an anchor and reporter at CNBC-TV18 in Mumbai, India, where she co-anchored two shows Power Breakfast and After the Bell at the height of the country's economic boom.

Speaking about the new line-up, CNBC SVP & Editor-in-Chief, Nikhil Deogun said: "The ensemble format, with personalities representing rich and diverse experiences, will guide our investor audience through the myriad news stories that break and develop each business day in markets all over the world. The show provides our viewers with a curated selection of the events that most affect their investment decisions".

John Casey, SVP of International News & Programming at CNBC added: "Worldwide Exchange has a breadth of content that demands a great deal of knowledge, energy and dynamism from its presenters. With the diverse and exceptionally talented trio of Julia, Seema and Wilfred now anchoring the show, we've got the range and depth to deliver a compelling viewer experience".
