The Cheryl Effect: Mrs Fernandez-Versini’s €1200 dress is instant sell out
Like with the Duchess of Cambridge, fans are flocking to steal Cheryl’s style.
The X Factor judge attended the launch of the new series at London’s Ham Yard hotel.
In a pencil dress with contrasting peter pan collar by Jason Wu, Cheryl showed off her newly refined style.
The elegant midi, which retails at approximately €1190, has since sold out on Net-A-Porter, as fans raced to emulate her look.
The former Girls Aloud singer styled the dress with monochrome pointed Manolo Blahnik heels, a glossy red lip and teased ponytail.
Since she became the nation’s sweetheart on the X Factor, Cheryl has been a style icon in her own right.
Like Kate Middleton, the Geordie star certainly has that same ‘girl next door’ quality that guarantees her outfits are highly sought after.
Since her marriage to French entrepreneur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini and return to the talent show, Cheryl has undergone a makeunder from her former image.
Gone are the embellished mini dresses, voluminous bouffants and chandelier earrings, and in their place are tailored separates, elegant silhouettes and muted colours.
One thing is for sure, we can’t wait to see what her wardrobe for the live shows entails.
