Brightly coloured walls
At the Gurgaon office of global professional networking site LinkedIn, the brightly coloured walls are a far cry from the boring fabricated structures most cubicle dwellers are used to.

Comfortable bright holes
If you don't feel like working at your desk, pick up the laptop and move to a more comfortable bright orange or green hole-in-the-wall soft seating.

London telephone booths
LinkedIn even tried to import London telephone booths to be used as phone enclosures, but when it couldn't, it used wallpaper to mimic the design.

LinkedIn India country manager Nishant Rao sits at a different area of the new Gurgaon office on various days to allow easier access to people.

LinkedIn's Rao says he has seen serious work conversations happening around the pool table in the Gurgaon office. The same work area has a TT table too

'Such spaces really help'
"In our world, the consumer internet world, we don't know what's next, so we need constant ideation. We need to keep coming up with ideas, implementing, failing, thinking some more. These spaces really help," he said.

Google's Hyderabad office
Around the world, working at Google is meant to be fun. At some of its offices, including the one in Hyderabad, employees can use the Google Slide to travel from the higher floors to the ground level. <br><br>Informal meeting places in Hyderabad include a houseboat, a cycle rickshaw, and an Ambassador car with seats facing each other.
