Society Power: Support from ECA societies is turning out to be a clincher for participants in the college auditions of Clean & Clear Delhi Times Fresh Face 2014, as it was at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC). In fact, the audience here was clearly divided into the Mizbahites (dance society) and Suvreenites (music society). Emcee Maddy kept trying to get one society to vote for the other’s freshers on stage too, just for fun.Every fresher came on stage with full confidence, knowing that the two girls who win this contest get a chance to become the face of Clean & Clear.
Talent Tales: The talent round saw lots of energetic performances. Akshat Chandhok had girls cheering for him as he walked the ramp in style. The dancers in the talent round, like Dhruv, Tanya Singh and Jasneet Kaur Bhatia, danced to the tunes of DJ Sumit Sethi.
Rejecting Friendship Requests! In the Q&A round, Sahiba Bhasin was asked how she was dealing with attention from college seniors and the many Facebook friend requests, to which she confidently replied, “I say hi to everyone in college but not online.” She was adjudged the first runner-up here, along with singer Rahul Bansal, while Tanya and Harmeet Singh were awarded the second runners-up positions.
