As the people present there raised an alarm, Aamir Qureshi, who works as a Spanish translator and Virendra, a businessman, chased the robbers and handed them over to the police.

Mathur said their bravery, despite the two miscreants carrying firearms, is commendable and has recommended their names for a bravery award.

Praising the bravery of the duo, Prahalad Agarwal of the Agra Tourist Welfare Chamber said, "The bravery of these men saved the reputation of Agra and India as a tourist destination. With such bravehearts in the city, the tourists can feel perfectly safe."
