Police from Gondal town in Rajkot district have arrested former Gondal MLA’s personal assistant in connection with the two-wheeler theft case.

RAJKOT: Police from Gondal town in Rajkot district have arrested former Gondal MLA’s personal assistant in connection with the two-wheeler theft case.
According to police, they have arrested Haresh Viradiya, a resident of Tulshi Tower in Gondal town and personal assistant of former Gondal MLA and NCP leader Chandu Vaghashiya.
Police said that Viradiya’s name cropped up when they nabbed Keshu Aghera who told police that he had purchased a bike from Viradiya.
Police questioned Viradiya about bike’s documents but he could not produce the documents before the police and confessed that he stole the bike and sold it to Aghera in January last year.
Viradiya is a broker of two-wheelers in Gondal town. Police suspect that Viradiya was engaged in the trade of stolen vehicles. Police have arrested both the accused and will produce them before a local court seeking remand for further investigation.
