The Leisure & Cultural Services Department has reopened the 14 beaches in Tuen Mun and Tsuen Wan after they passed water quality tests.

The Environmental Protection Department today confirmed water quality at the beaches is now suitable for swimming.

The beaches were temporarily closed as a precaution following a fault at the Pillar Point Sewage Treatment Works on August 25.
