Klitschko title defence rescheduled for November

World No.1 heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko will now defend his titles against Kubrat Pulev on the rescheduled date of November 15.

Ukrainian Klitschko, 38, last week pulled out of facing his Bulgarian challenger on September 6 with a torn muscle in a bicep but the fight has been rearranged to take place in Hamburg later this year.

"I am delighted that the title defense can still take place in Hamburg, the atmosphere here is always gigantic," said Klitschko, who holds the IBF, WBA and WBO belts.

"Due to the injury, I am taking a break from training now and will then start again with the preparation for the fight."

It will be Klitschko's second fight this year and will come a week before Britons Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora meet in an eliminator to become the mandatory challenger for his WBO belt.

Klitschko had been sparring with Britain's 2012 Olympic gold medalist Anthony Joshua, who is due to face German Konstantin Airich in Manchester on September 13. Airich has lost five of his last seven fights.
