There is struggle during transition to hero: Deepak

Actor Deepak has debuted as the hero of a Mollywood film through John Paul Vathil Thurakkunnu.
The actor says that his transition from a character actor to that of a hero was quite tough and had many struggles involved. Deepak’s first film was Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Malarvadi Arts Club and apparently, nobody recognized him in theaters or outside, after watching the film.He had also played a notable character in Thira.
