R K Swamy BBDO, a part of R K Swamy Hansa, a leading marketing communications and services group, has been given the ‘launch communication mandate’ for the financial inclusion programme of the Government of India.

Labelled “Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojana”, it is being formally launched by the Prime Minister on August 28 in New Delhi.

“The launch communication mandate for this has been assigned to R K Swamy BBDO,” says a release from the company. It is assigned the task of developing a fully integrated creative and media communication package. “A committee comprising the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, several leading banks and the Indian Banks’ Association led the agency selection process,” the release points out.

The programme encompasses all media, including TV, radio, newspapers, outdoor, Internet and social media.

“We are privileged to be associated with The Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojana projectt, and we are sparing no effort to ensure that the programme is successful,” a release quoted Shekar Swamy, CEO, R K Swamy BBDO, as saying.
