A TV awards show, held at a city auditorium last Tuesday, saw a bevy of celebs in attendance.
A TV awards show, held at a city auditorium last Tuesday, saw a bevy of celebs in attendance.
While the evening saw actors and actresses receiving awards for their contribution in the industry, the audience was treated to some fabulous performances. Srabanti shook a leg to Bolly tracks like Titli and Nagada, Subhashree topped it with hit tracks from Tollywood. “I loved Sudeshna Roy and Paran Bandopadhyay's performance on yesteryear songs," said Sonalee Chaudhuri.

Singer Abhijeet too wowed all with his mellifluous voice.However, the presence of Asha Bhonsle, who gave away the awards to Aparna Sen and Madhabi Mukherjee added weight to the evening. Rachna Banerjee said, “It was great to see senior technicians of the industry being honoured."
We also spotted GoutamGhose, BiswanathBasu, SohiniSarkar, Raghab, AnindyaChattopadhyay , AbirChatterjee, ShiboprosadMukherjee and Nandita Roy among others at the do.

As Ashaji could not sing due to a sore throat, emcee Mir, along with the audience, crooned Piya Tu ab toh aaja for her.
