(MENAFNEditorial) Dubai, UAE; 27 August 2014 – Celebrating its tenth year of being in Dubai, The Dubai Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has announced the dates for its first TiECon event scheduled for 1st & 2nd October 2014 at Emirates Towers. The Dubai edition of TIECon, Silicon Valley's largest Entrepreneurial conference, will bring together over 300 prominent entrepreneurs, venture, capitalists, corporate leaders, industry experts and innovators from the UAE and 17 neighbouring countries. The Dubai event follows the success of the TiECon event held recently this year in the US that drew over 4000 attendees from around the world.
"This event is a true celebration of entrepreneurship in the (Middle East) region and the contributions that we (TiE Dubai) are making to the growth of businesses here," said PK Gulati, President (Elect) & Member of the TiE Global Board. TiECon 2014 will address important trends, challenges, innovations and business opportunities across multiple industries and channels including Trading, E-Commerce and Smart Technologies. This will be delivered in a series of keynote speeches, presentations and panel discussions. TiECon 2014 will also showcase notable local and global entrepreneurial success stories. The speaker line-up is headlined by a keynote on the first day from Shekhar Kapur, the Golden Globe winning director famous for films such as Elizabeth and The Four Feathers.
