TISS, Mumbai admissions for PGD programme in Inclusive Education

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai has invited applications for admissions to one-year full time postgraduate diploma programme in inclusive education. The candidates, who are eligible for the posts can apply for the course through the prescribed format by September 5, 2014.
The overall aim of this programme is to develop a cadre of personnel with specialised competency in working with marginalised children irrespective of disability, disadvantage, and privilege through building right based perspectives.
Details of Course: PG Diploma Programme in Inclusive Education
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the course should hold any first degree in education (BA in education, regular BEd, BEd in special education). A Bachelor's Degree (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years of formal education), in any discipline from a recognised university, with minimum aggregate marks of 50 per cent (40 pe rcent for Scheduled Castes SCs and Scheduled Tribes).
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of personal interview and academic background.
