TV serial 'Umraao Jaan' brought Abbas in the limelight. A sought-after TV actor, Imran did several serials including Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Deewangi, Mera Naseeb, Teri Meri Dosti, etc. He was also seen in a few telefilms.

Apart from the main cast, singer Mika Singh and Shaan are likely to play a special part in the comedy extravaganza.

They will also be joined by celebrated Pakistani comedian Amanullah Khan.

Speaking to Emirates 24|7, Anita Abraham, owner of Eyka, a Dubai-based events and advertising company, said: “This event is a big deal because it is the first time ‘CNWK’ is being filmed outside India. The show’s concept will be exactly the same to what is aired on Colors TV, except with a Dubai skyline serving as a backdrop.”

She continued: “There are other celeb acts that are also attending the event, which will be announced closer to the date.”

Mika Singh

Speaking about the show’s cult following with fans, Abraham further added: “While the show has garnered a large fan base in India, ‘CNWK’ is not limited to its local audience alone, especially when you take into account the large Asian diaspora in the UAE that watches the comedy show, including those from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and even Hindi/Urdu speaking Emiratis.

“I am confident this will prove to be a sell-out show.”

Tickets for the live performance are on sale on Platinumlist.net, ranging between Dh150 and Dh1,000. Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 8.30 pm.
