The resolution by Teso also pressed for India granting visa to the UN team
Chennai: DMK led Teso (Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation) on Tuesday urged the Indian government to take immediate steps to expedite the process of finding a political solution desired by the Lankan Tamils.Taking solace in the interest shown by the Modi regime to facilitate a political solution for the Tamils issue in Lanka following a meeting between a TNA delegation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi recently, a resolution adopted at an emergency TESO meeting held on Tuesday morning said, “It is a matter of solace that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led regime at the Centre has come forward to find a political solution for the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.”
