JAMMU, Aug 26: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting border areas in RS Pura and Arnia sectors on August 29 for an on spot assessment of the situation in view of shelling and firing by Pakistan, leading to migration from several villages.
Rajnath would be accompanied by top officers of MHA and BSF during his one day visit to the borders in which he will review situation with the BSF Commanders.
The Home Minister will also visit the migrant camps in RS Pura and Arnia and inter-act with the border people, who have shifted to the camps due to prolonged spell of shelling and firing.
This would be first visit of Rajnath Singh to Jammu and Kashmir after taking over as the Union Home Minister.
