TOKYO -- Sekisui Chemical and the city of Osaka are teaming up to undertake sewer pipe repairs in Vietnam.
The public-private partnership will begin repairing sewer pipes in Ho Chi Minh City as early as this year, introducing a construction method in which Sekisui Chemical specializes. The so-called SPR method reinforces sewer pipe walls from the inside, enabling aging infrastructure to be repaired without having to dig up the road above.
