ATN LAUNCHES 5 MORE CHANNELS ON ROGERS CABLE

Asian Television Network International Ltd. has launched five channels on Rogers Cable with effect Aug. 26, 2014. The channels launched are:

• ATN-DD India: general interest channel;
• ATN-Dhammal: comedy channel;
• UTV Movies International: Bollywood movie channel;
• ARY Zauk: food and lifestyle channel in Urdu;
• ARY News: 24-hour news channel in Urdu.

ATN-DD India

DD India is an Indian satellite television channel which is marketed toward Indian audiences living abroad, and offers an update on the social, cultural and political aspects of India. The programming on this channel continues to be done in a manner to enable it to meet its primary objective of providing a window to the world, especially for the Indian diaspora to witness the Indian social, cultural, political and economic scene.

ATN-Dhamaal

A Hindi general entertainment channel from the house of Sri Adhikari brothers that caters to different types of audiences around the globe. Dhamaal encompasses an eclectic mix of programming, covering genres including music, comedy, fantasy and the works. All the shows have been packaged for a complete entertainment for the family.

UTV Movies International

A 24-hour Hindi movie channel that brings the passion and flair of Bollywood to North America. Drawing on the universal passion of cinema, the channel provides its viewers a direct experience of the spirit of Bollywood. ARY Zauq

A cooking channel that has all the vibrant flavours of Pakistani and international cuisine. The channel features fresh programming with expert advice and famous chefs from all over Pakistan. Be it Pakistani cuisine, seafood treasures or continental delight, the channel features the best recipes, and also gives viewers a wonderful opportunity to interact live with their favourite hosts and learn a thing or two about a nutritionally sound lifestyle.

ARY News

A pioneer in the field of news/current affairs in Pakistan, this channel operates under the philosophy of keeping its viewers "har lamha bakhabar." Bakhabar is an Urdu word that means informed, and that is precisely what the channel strives to achieve as it digs into the heart of every story on the local as well as international level.

All five channels are also available on Bell Fibe TV in Ontario and Quebec.
