Ramendra Kumar is a national award winning writer of books for children and young adults. Mohini , his first book for adults has been making waves in the publishing world with the first edition sold out in the very first week of its release. His works have been translated into several Indian and foreign languages and six of his books have been recommended as readers for CBSE, India. His read aloud book, Paplu The Giant was selected to mark the International Literacy Day on September, 7, 2013.

Ramen has been conducting Creative Writing Workshops & Story Telling sessions in different schools around the globe. He is also the editor of a New York based website for children: www.bolokids.com

Schools in Coimbatore will get a chance to interact and work with Ramedra Kumar between September 6 and 10.

Three-hour creative writing workshops for students aged between 13 and 15 is Rs. 250 per head (for a minimum of 30 heads) and for ages nine to 12 is Rs 250 per head (for a minimum of 30 heads).

For a Meet the Author session for students of classes three, four and five for an hour, including a book reading, the charges are Rs 200 per head (for a minimum of 30 heads).
