LONDON, August 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
A long relationship with Microsoft and use of Microsoft
technology to build its applications has led NFS Technology Group
to being awarded a Microsoft Gold Partnership
NFS was awarded the Microsoft Gold Partnership for the latest
meeting room and resource management software, Rendezvous
Workspace, which was built around the latest Microsoft
technology.
The use of Microsoft technology for the Workspace solution
provides the ability to offer an industry standard platform which
is easy and cost-effective to maintain. It also allows NFS to offer
a robust cloud-based solution around Microsoft's Azure
platform.
Microsoft Partners receive a set of core benefits that can help
save time and money while strengthening capabilities, better
serving customers and building connections to reach full business
potential. Having the Rendezvous Workspace solution now certified
across a range of Microsoft databases and operating systems,
including the new Windows 2012 platform, means more flexibility and
the ability to future-proof investment.
"When it was released three years ago, Rendezvous Workspace was
a revolutionary platform for scheduling room and resource
management," says NFS Chief Executive Officer Luis De Souza. "Since then, the solution has
been adopted by major organisations in the UK and internationally,
including DLA Piper, Norton Rose
Fulbright and Centrica.
"NFS has enjoyed a good relationship with Microsoft for many
years, and we are proud to have now achieved this Gold Partnership.
Use of Microsoft technology across the application, in areas such
as Reporting Services, now gives clients easy access to data, with
a lower cost of deployment and use of existing technology that
offers them a familiarity of use.
"Crucially, many of our large corporations are moving down the
self-service route in terms of booking resources, meeting rooms and
other flexible spaces. For them, the Rendezvous software can be
deployed in the most efficient manner, taking full advantage of
Outlook, Exchange and other Microsoft technology available for the
latest generation of tablets now gaining in popularity."
To gain the Partnership, NFS was required to show that
Rendezvous Workspace had been tested and certified for the Windows
2012 Platform, while staff were required to demonstrate their
Microsoft product skills. Client references were gathered for
various projects that used the Microsoft platform, and a client
satisfaction survey validated the quality of NFS products.
"It's a win-win for both NFS staff and clients," says
Luis De Souza. "For our staff it
means we have proof of their hard work in developing a compliant
application that can be deployed and managed in both the client's
environment and in a hosted SaaS environment, using Microsoft's
core technology. For clients, it will mean the solution will be
faster to deploy, offering a level of confidence in making room
scheduling easier to manage and maintain."
