Resma to recreate Gutthi magic?

Actor Sagar Karande who plays Resma in the Marathi reality show ‘Chala Hava Yeu Dya’ insists that his Resma is not a copy of Gutthi.
The show ‘Chala Hava Yeu Dya’ is inspired by ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ which went on to become a sensation on Hindi television. Most feel that Sagar's Resma is inspired by Gutthi however, Sagar claims that Resma is his original creation. He said, “Resma was a character which I had performed in one of the skits in ‘Fu Bai Fu’.The character had got very popular hence we decided to include that character in the show. We had performed that skit much before Gutthi came on screen.”

When asked Sagar if he intends to recreate the Gutthi magic with his Resma, Sagar said, “For now I am enjoying the response I am getting. Even while shooting we get an amazing response from the live audience.”
