Watch: Alia Bhatt takes Internet bullies by storm

 

New Delhi: The lady came, conquered and has recently left the box-office bells ringing with her back-to-back blockbuster performances in `2 States`, `Highway` and `Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania`. Yes, you guessed it right. It`s none other than the much talked about diva in B-town- Alia Bhatt who made her debut with Karan Johar`s `Student Of The Year`. The damsel in question was once in distress after her debacle in the last season of the celebrity chat show `Koffee With Karan` and became the butt of jokes on all social networking sites for her low IQ. The 21 year-old actress was highly ridiculed for her poor knowledge on the current affairs of the country after she failed to correctly name the President of India. There were trends like #YoAliaSoDumb on Twitter and Facebook pages that mocked her IQ on social media. But this has certainly not dampened the spirits of baby Alia. She has sportingly appeared in an entertaining video titled `Alia Bhatt- Genius of the Year` and has taken to Twitter, to post about the same.

A brief description of the YouTube video, uploaded by comedy collective All India Bakchod (AIB), reads: "What did Alia Bhatt do after the internet turned her into the butt of all jokes? A documentary crew found out..." The video is extremely funny where Alia takes a dig at herself with appearances by her father Mahesh Bhatt and her colleagues like Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor. It depicts what she went through after her lack of GK was known to the world when she called Prithviraj Chauhan as the country`s President on Karan`s show. In the video, she is seen talking about how hurt she was when instead of searching for "Alia Bhatt hot pics" on Google, people started looking for "Alia Bhatt jokes". Alia then visits a `Dumb Belle Mental Gym`, which offers her to take her from "Dolce & Gabbana to `Smart like Shabana (Azmi)`". At the `gym`, she reads newspapers and her diet is "three portions of newspapers in the morning" and she is instructed to "skip Page 3". She is made to brush up her knowledge via music, and she lands on "Koffee With Karan" again and stuns host Karan with her answers.

The end is even more hilarious.
