Robbers have a field day

Unidentified armed dacoits snatched motorcycles, looted cash and other valuables including gold ornaments worth millions of rupees in three different incidents here the other day.
According to details, near Chak 88/6-R, a youth Zulifqar was going towards petrol pump to get diesel on his motorcycle (SLP-688) from his land. On the way two armed dacoits stopped him at gunpoint and deprived of motorcycle and Rs10,000.
Another incident which took place near Chak 87/6-R in the remit of Fareed Town Police where one Tanveer Ahmad was on the way back home when three armed dacoits intercepted him at gunpoint. They snatched motorcycle and Rs50,000 from him. They tied his hands and foot and threw him in nearby maize crop.
Meanwhile, 6 armed dacoits entered the house of Muneer Alam in Chak 1/10-L after scaling the outer wall at midnight. They held the family members hostage and locked them in a room. They collected gold ornaments, cellphones and other valuable worth more than Rs1.3 million and fled way. The police have registered separate cases and started investigation.
